The present moment lasts the same for all,

and is all anyone possesses.

What happened yesterday,

what happened five minutes ago,

is the past.

Most of us have no idea

how tired we are inside

until we are still.

We’re terrified of our questions.

Questions can be like prayers.

They’re hammers,

prying up nails.

We want the result,

not the process.

Life doesn’t work that way.

The solution lies in the acceptance

and active engagement
